Stocking Your Pantry, Fridge, and Freezer 

It’s even easier to keep your freezer full of Creami creations when you have what you need on hand. Just remember that you can use canned or jarred fruit, frozen and fresh in-season. You can also buy base ingredients in bulk to save money and time.

Staple Recipes 

In every book I’ve ever written, I include some recipes that you can save money by making yourself. You can always use store-bought alternatives if you’re short on time. But I think it’s nice to have as many choices as possible.

Nice Cream & Smoothie Bowl Recipes

Everyone loves nice cream. Healthy, extra creamy, and usually made with bananas. Some people, maybe even you, are not fans of bananas. Just substitute the same amount of cooked pureed white or orange sweet potato for your idea of a delicious creamy treat in the recipe in this chapter. Pureed pumpkin or pears work well too!

Sorbets & Sherbert 

The very first thing I made in my Creami was the pineapple sherbert. I love that you can make treats from canned fruit in juice, frozen fruit and nondairy milk, and other super easy combinations. Sorbet is all fruit with flavorings, and sherbet is usually a fruit flavor with a non-dairy milk addition.

Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt 

Now that you’ve made some sorbets, smoothie bowls, and nice cream we can get down to the business of ice cream. Were you a big fan of frozen yogurt?
